Initial idea for opening sequence
This is our first and initial ideas on what our opening sequence is going to consist of, it gives us a rough idea on what to do and also how we can improve our first ideas. Throughout the course of the year we will continually refer back to this piece to see how our thoughts and ideas have changed in order to make our final clip much better than it would have been at the start. It gives us a starting point and an idea of what route we want to take in creating a spy genre clip. We have also watched many opening clips to very successful spy movies which have given us an idea on what we want to do and have stunted our thoughts into something much bigger

Different shot types
Kit Kat Chunky and cup of tea - camera angles and shot types
Wide shot- We used a wide shot to capture the environment and the surroundings within our clip to make it much more captivating, to do this we took the video on a landscape setting.
Close-up - We did a close up of Jack walking towards the cup of tea and also eating the kit kat in order to create mystery and also captivate the romance that we were trying to create.
Over the shoulder shot- We used this type of shot when Jack started to move closer to the Kit Kat in our short clip, we did this to try and create mystery, we also did this as Jack moved closer to the bench in the cup of tea scenario.
Lighting - We tried to add in a low key lighting effect in order to create suspense in our short clip however we filmed the clip during the day therefore we could not control the variables and the shade of lighting.
High and low Angles - we included both types of angles in our video to incenuate power(low angle) and inferiority(high angle) - to suggest that they are being looked down on

Filming practice
A Kit Kat chunky and Cup of Tea - filming sequences
In the two separate media lessons we were given different tasks to do during the course of the 2 hours in which we had to complete it.
Whilst filming many different shots we tried to incorporate miss en scene to highlight the different surroundings that we used, this consisted of many high and low angle shots including extreme close-up and over the shoulder shots. We did this to highlight all the different ways in which we use camera movement to make our short film more interesting and intriguing.

We did this to highlight all the different ways in which we use camera movement to make our short film more interesting and intriguing.
Our first task was the kit kat chunky - within this we had to do several different clips of the kit kat moving around and the end result would be Jack eating it, we started my dropping the kit kat onto the camera; to insure that we did this correctly we created the image of the chocolate bar falling from the sky. We tried to add emphasis and mystery within our clip to make it unique by moving the chunky bar across the bottom of our camera - we did this in order to show the chocolate bar was moving towards Jack.
We tried to make our clip into a romance esque video, by doing this we used final cut to slow down each shot so that it created a more distinctive and interesting style to it.
Secondly, in the cup of tea clip - in my opinion i think we had a much better experience, we were much more confident with the different types of camera angles and also ow to use the final cut pro soft ware - by adding in different types of features such as: fast and slow motion, sound and changing the lighting to create drama, we also used many angles such as : High and low, over the shoulder, long shots, medium close-ups and close-ups of us drinking the cup of tea. By doing each of these clips and adding each one in at the appropriate times so that it all fits together worked perfectly and also the music fitted so that the beat went with each clip. For example every time a new clip was inserted the beat of the song would change which made it all the more captivating.
